Our History


Danval

Danval is a family business that is in the third generation of managers. It is located in São Paulo with productive and logistical capacity to meet all public and private demands.

Danval started its activities in 1954, as a manufacturer and distributor of auto parts. In 1958, it expands its activities to the area of electro-electronics, producing and distributing residential bells, bells for elevators and, mainly, bus stop request signage. In the 1960s, production and distribution of telephone bells and power bells for alarms began. In the following decades, it established its presence in the foreign market, exporting to countries in South America.
With the professionalization of the company in 1980, Danval partners with American and European companies, strongly entering technology products aimed at the bus manufacturers market.

At the beginning of the 21st century, Danval generates its own technology and its R&D area innovates with the embedded wireless technology, receiving the national award for Technological Innovation from Senai with the renowned wireless bus stop request system.
In 2018, Danval is again awarded the national Senai Technological Innovation award with the Danbelt product - real-time seat belt monitoring for public transport.

Danval today has international visibility and, with its innovations, exports to several countries, being present in mass transportation companies such as all the lines of the São Paulo Metro and all Brazilian bus manufacturers.

Finally, the Home Center market receives wireless applications, new bells and lighting with LEDs for steps, derived from new technologies developed by Danval.
